In the years since 9/11, we’ve been focused on a vital goal: stopping terrorist attacks before they happen. Establishing a military tribunal system to extract information from terrorist suspects and bring terrorists to justice is a top priority in that effort. I commend Chairman Hunter and Chairman Sensenbrenner for their work and leadership on this bill.

To stop terrorist attacks before they happen, we need to be able to interrogate terrorist suspects, find out what they know, and put them on trial.
