New Documents Show Justice Dept Officials Knew About “Fast & Furious”

Oversight & Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder today regarding new evidence showing “senior Justice Department Officials in Washington were given specific information about reckless tactics in Operation Fast and Furious.”

Issa says the evidence shows “immense detail about questionable investigative tactics was available to the senior officials who reviewed and authorized them. The close involvement of these officials – much greater than previously known – is shocking.” Read Issa’s full letter here:

As Boehner has said, “all options are on the table” for holding the Justice Department accountable. Learn more at http://issues.oversight.house.gov/fastandfurious/.
