President Obama Owes Millions of Americans Hurt by His Broken Promises More than an Apology

President Obama apologized to the millions of Americans last night who have been deceived by his promise that they could keep their health plans.  But those words are of little consolation to families across the nation who are still left with cancellation notices and higher premiums if the president isn’t willing to back those words with action. 

Next week, the House will on the Keep Your Health Plan Act that would fulfill the president’s promise to allow Americans to keep the coverage they like.  “If the president is sincerely sorry that he misled the American people,” Speaker Boehner said yesterday, “the very least he can do is support this bipartisan effort.”  From Alabama to California and points in between, President Obama owes all these Americans more than an apology:
