Speaker Ryan has literally hundreds of meetings every month—with members of Congress, heads of state, and religious leaders. But none of those meetings are more important than the time he gets to spend with the very people who sent him to Congress in the first place. 4. Fist Bump // February 24
Dale Nixon, from Kenosha, WI, fist bumps with the Speaker after learning the great news that he and wife would soon be bringing their daughter home from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, after years of wading through a lengthy and complex adoption process.
5. Disabled Veterans // February 24
The Disabled Veterans of America from Wisconsin thank Speaker Ryan for his strong support of reform at the VA.
6. Two Pauls Meet // February 24
Paul Simpson visits the Capitol last month to attend the Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony honoring the foot soldiers of the 1965 Voting Rights Marches.
