WASHINGTON—On Thursday, July 20, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) will be in Lawrence, Massachusetts, to visit the New Balance factory—one of the company’s five athletic shoe manufacturing facilities in New England. Speaker Ryan will participate in a business leader roundtable, tour the factory, and promote the historic tax reform plan currently being developed by the House, Senate, and Trump administration.

Following the tour, members of the media are invited to cover Speaker Ryan’s remarks and participate in a brief Q&A.

Media must present valid press credentials upon arrival. For safety reasons, all attendees must wear closed-toed shoes to be allowed on the factory floor.
Doors open at 12:00 p.m. ET sharp. As this is a working factory, this time will be strictly enforced. All media with large equipment must be pre-set by 1:00 p.m. ET for the security sweep. Satellite trucks may park on the southwest corner in the rear parking lot/loading dock area.
