WASHINGTON  House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) released the following statement after hosting a bipartisan meeting with President Juan Manuel Santos of Colombia:

I had the privilege to host this important and timely discussion with President Santos. We discussed a wide range of issues, including building on our trade relationship, Colombia’s ongoing reconciliation efforts with the FARC, and the successes of Plan Colombia. I look forward to working with President Santos to further strengthen the U.S.-Colombia partnership.”
