America has the best workers in the world. I am certain of it because I get to meet with a lot of them and see their talent and skills firsthand. In the last month or so, I've visited factory after factory where they are proud to label many of their products "Made in America." These companies create tens of thousands of jobs by making things right here in the United States, but more and more, it seems like that is the exception, not the rule.
As I listened to hardworking folks on shop floors from Boston to Seattle, here's what I heard over and over again: American taxpayers deserve a break.
Our outdated tax code is too complicated and puts American workers at a disadvantage. It's time to level the playing field, simplify the code, and cut taxes so that we can have more American success stories like what I saw at Boeing, Intel, and New Balance. 2017 is the year to get it done.
