On India:

“To have this relationship [with India] changes the course of history going forward. I give this president a great deal of credit . . . this creates a much bigger bond, and so for the president to do this and build with [Prime Minister] Modi, this makes the world stronger . . .

“I’m around this president a great deal. I’m around him when foreign leaders call and I see the relationship that they have with him . . .  this president is respected because of where this country is at with his leadership . . .

“[President Trump] is expanding the strength of America and expanding democracy around the world.”

On Sanders:

“It’s not because if Bernie Sanders is the nominee, it’s because of what they embrace. They embrace Bernie Sanders’ policies. They embrace socialism . . . More than half of the Democrats in Congress have co-sponsored Medicare for All. Almost half [support] a Green New Deal . . .

“This is not the Democratic party of the past. This is the Socialist Democratic party that thinks Fidel Castro is a good person . . .

“The real reason why they will lose the Majority is, what have they accomplished? They’ve accomplished nothing . . .

“If you really want to know what’s going to happen in the next election go to the question Ronald Reagan always asks: ‘Are you better off today than you were three years ago?’ [And] the answer is yes . . .”
