He is a standout player in the Congressional Baseball game, a happy warrior, and the architect behind the largest tax cuts in American history. Last month, Texas Rep. Kevin Brady’s portrait as a former Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee was unveiled to the public. Hundreds of people gathered in the Ways and Means Committee room to celebrate Ranking Member Brady’s portrait unveiling and to commemorate his service in the House of Representatives — which he is retiring from in January after 26 years in Congress.

Now, when anyone looks at his portrait, they’ll see a man who always fought to put the American taxpayers’ money back into their pockets.

“Chairman Brady has served the people of Texas faithfully in Congress for 26 years. And by any metric, Kevin led a historic career,” said Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy. “Under Kevin Brady’s thoughtful leadership, his committee changed the direction of America and wove the foundations of a stronger, more prosperous nation.”
