House Republicans Still Can’t Escape American Rescue Plan Front Pages

With 2.4 million vaccinations per day and 90 million Americans with stimulus money in their pockets, House Republicans are openly running away from their votes to block the American Rescue Plan.

Minority Leader McCarthy convinced House Republicans to vote unanimously against getting vaccines in arms, money in pockets, children back in school safely, and people back in jobs.  House Democrats – and the positive Rescue Plan headlines splashed across the front pages of newspapers across Republican districts – aren’t going to let them change the subject.

The American Rescue Plan means a lot to Republican congressional districts – and their newspapers.  We saw that on Thursday’s front pages.
