Today, at a Congressional Gold Medal ceremony held in Emancipation Hall at the U.S. Capitol, leaders of the U.S. House and Senate honored Native American code talkers for their valor and dedication during World War I and World War II.  Speaker Boehner described the code talkers as the "bravest of the brave" and thanked tribal representatives from the more than 30 tribes that were recognized.
