#27: House Votes to Stop Excessive Farm Dust Regulation & Protect Rural Jobs | Speaker.gov

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) released the following statement today after the House passed the Farm Dust Regulation Prevention Act (H.R. 1633), legislation preventing excessive Washington regulations that would hurt American farmers and ranchers, and destroy American jobs:

“Stopping excessive government regulations that threaten job growth is a key part of the Republican jobs plan. The jobs bill passed by the House today would prevent Washington from imposing unnecessary restrictions on American farmers and ranchers that would destroy jobs and raise prices on families struggling in President Obama’s economy. I want to thank Reps. Kristi Noem and Robert Hurt for their efforts to help end some of the uncertainty facing job creators and prevent another government obstacle to job creation. Now it’s time for the president to do his part and urge Senate Democrats to put the 27 House-passed jobs bills to a vote so we can get our economy back to creating new jobs.”
