WASHINGTON, DC – At his weekly press briefing today, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) took the State Department and Secretary Clinton to task for continuing to stonewall the House’s Benghazi investigation, saying that the families of the victims, and the American people, deserve all the facts about what happened.  Following are Boehner’s remarks:

“On Benghazi, the Select Committee continues its efforts to hold the administration accountable.  By refusing to comply with all relevant requests for documents, Secretary Clinton and the State Department are actually prolonging this investigation.  And because the State Department – their refusal to comply, the Committee has called Secretary Kerry’s chief of staff to testify next week.

“Listen, four Americans lost their lives in this terrorist attack.  Their families and fellow citizens deserve to see all of the facts.  That’s not too much to ask – nor frankly is it too much to expect – from our government.”
