Speaker Ryan & House Leaders Meet with South Korean President Moon Jae-in | Speaker.gov

WASHINGTON—House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) issued the following statement after hosting a bipartisan meeting with South Korean President Moon Jae-in:

“We were honored to be joined by President Moon on his first visit to the United States since his election. The relationship between our nations is underpinned by shared values and strong economic and military cooperation. That is why we must work hand-in-hand to address the threats posed by North Korea’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs. South Korea is one of our most important allies in the world, and it’s clear President Moon shares our desire to strengthen our bilateral relationship.”
