WASHINGTON—On Thursday, September 7, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) will join Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) and members of the Commission on Evidence-Based Policymaking for a press conference on the commission’s final report and recommendations. Speaker Ryan and Senator Murray will make brief remarks.
The event is open to media and invited guests. The commission chair and co-chair, Katharine G. Abraham and Ron Haskins, respectively, will provide highlights of the report and, along with other members of the commission, will be available for questions at the end of the program.
Under the law, the commission’s charge was to study how to increase the availability and use of data in order to build evidence about government programs. Learn more about the commission here.
