WASHINGTON—Tomorrow, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) will host House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) for an address on military readiness and the state of our defense capabilities. The remarks come ahead of Friday’s deadline to extend funding for our military, which Speaker Ryan will argue is critical to equip our troops so they can do their jobs. After his remarks, Dr. John Hamre, CSIS president and CEO, will moderate a conversation with Speaker Ryan on the subject.
