Amman, Jordan. – Speaker Kevin McCarthy led a bipartisan Congressional Delegation (CODEL) to Jordan, where they met with His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince.
“Jordan is part of my first trip as Speaker. There’s a reason for that. They are a strategic ally in the Middle East and share America’s commitment to peace, prosperity — and most importantly — stability in the region.
“I thank King Abdullah and the Crown Prince for their hospitality. We all recognize our strategic cooperation is more important than ever,” said Speaker McCarthy.
