Since his election as Speaker of the House, Speaker Kevin McCarthy has sought to make the U.S. Capitol and Congress more accessible to the American people than ever before.

The Speaker has ended proxy voting, fully reopened the Capitol for tours, and allowed the American public back into the House gallery to watch House proceedings.

Now, for the first time in American history, a joint meeting of Congress can be viewed in full virtual reality, offering a new, unprecedented glimpse into the House Chamber during Republic of Korea President Yoon Suk Yeol’s address to Congress.

Speaker McCarthy is committed to bringing the American people closer to their government.
