Last month, Speaker John Boehner welcomed foreign leaders - including Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu - to the U.S. Capitol, and led a coordinated push to address rising gas prices and hold the president accountable for his anti-energy policies.  

This week, the House of Representatives honored outgoing parliamentarian John Sullivan, who is retiring after eight years in his post and 25 years of service to the people’s House.

Earlier today, Speaker Boehner welcomed Irish prime minister Enda Kenny and his wife Fionnuala Kenny to the Capitol for the annual Friends of Ireland luncheon.  They were joined by President Obama, Vice President Biden, and members of Congress.  

Earlier today, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu paid a visit to the U.S. Capitol, where he was greeted by Speaker Boehner in his ceremonial office.

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) welcomed Gianfranco Fini, speaker of the lower house of the Italian parliament, to the U.S. Capitol this afternoon.
