Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH), Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA), and several House committee chairmen today released a report entitled ObamaCare: A Budget-Busting, Job-Killing Health Care Law.

"As if Democrats' new health care law — with its tax hikes, higher costs, and Medicare cuts to establish a new federal entitlement and massive new bureaucracies — isn't already intrusive enough, at its heart lies an individual mandate that forces Americans to buy government-approved health insurance or pay a tax."

House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) marked the three-month anniversary of President Obama’s government takeover of health care by releasing a report outlining its broken promises. Entitled “ObamaCare: Three Months of Broken Promises,” the report measures the law’s across-the-board failure to live up to Washington Democrats’ specific promises, including creating jobs, lowering costs, reducing the deficit, and protecting seniors’ benefits.

Democrats continue to claim that their health care legislation will not increase the federal deficit, even though the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office has revealed the truth: the bill actually increases the deficit by $239 billion. One of the reasons it’s so expensive is the plethora of new federal government programs it would create. House Republican Leader John Boehner offered the following comment:
