The House has just wrapped up another week of action on the people’s top priorities, passing bills to help fix the problems at the VA, fight human trafficking, and foster more pro-growth innovation.


WASHINGTON, DC – House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) today issued the following statement applauding the House’s passage of H.R. 2262, the SPACE Act, legislation introduced by Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to promote innovation and American leadership in space:

The rule would give Washington, DC bureaucrats unprecedented powers to regulate virtually any place that water flows or accumulates anywhere in the United States.

With the exception of his speech at the Florida Everglades last week, President Obama likes to tell virtually every crowd that “America is number one in oil and gas” production. He’s right – but to borrow his line from 2012, he didn’t build that.
