Six years after the enactment of Obamacare, here’s what we know: This law has failed the American people.

Obamacare is a disaster. Insurance markets are collapsing. Premiums are soaring. Patients’ choices are dwindling. The law has failed to deliver on its core promises, hurting far more than it is helping.

Yesterday, Speaker Ryan delivered an address to The Economic Club of New York to discuss #BetterWay—a bold agenda to tackle our country’s biggest challenges.

House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) and members of the House and Senate took part today in an enrollment ceremony to mark the passage of S. 524, the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act, bipartisan legislation to combat the opioid epidemic in our country.

This was no mistake chalked up to bureaucratic ineptitude. It was a deliberate, calculated effort to circumvent the Constitution in order to prop up Obamacare.

More than twenty-four hours later, Secretary McDonald appears to see nothing wrong with this statement, suggesting that perhaps he was simply “misunderstood.” No one misunderstood. He just said the wrong thing.

The VA is not the happiest place on earth—far from it. Veterans have died waiting in line for health care at VA facilities.
