Boehner: New Job Growth Further Evidence of Bush Economic Boom

 WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. House Majority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) highlighted another month of strong job creation announced by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) this morning.  DOL announced that 138,000 jobs were created in April, for a total of more than 5.3 million new jobs since August 2003.  Unemployment remained low at 4.7 percent – lower than the average of the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.
