WASHINGTON — In case you haven’t noticed, House Democrats had another embarrassing, cringeworthy week.

With the eyes of America on Congress for President Trump’s Joint Address, House Democrats beclowned themselves. Rep. Al Green made history by getting removed from the chamber for his antics, multiple Democrats walked out mid-speech, and all-but-one Democrat refused to stand and clap for a 13-year-old boy battling brain cancer. And that was just Tuesday.

“They did make fools of themselves on the House floor, and everyone saw it – everyone in the country. It was a reminder to them why we won so decisively in this last election cycle and why they lost. They are really a party in total disarray, as you see on vivid display right now.” Speaker Johnson said on Fox News Outnumbered today. “They don’t have an identified leader, they don’t have any vision for where they’re going, they don’t have a platform that they can run on because it was repudiated overwhelmingly in the election, so they’re flailing about.”

Democrats’ shameful week:

MONDAY

·        Leader Hakeem Jeffries claimed, “The American people are with us,” while standing alone, with no one behind him. Meanwhile, only 21% of voters approve of the job Democrats are doing, an all-time low.

·        Rep. Nydia Velázquez went on an unhinged rant, yelling about Elon Musk: “What thehell are you doing here in America?” Go back to South Africa!”

TUESDAY

  • Rep. Al Green heckled President Trump and was removed from the chamber, becoming the first person to be removed the chamber for disruptive behavior during a joint session.
  • House Democrats held up signs with no awareness that they could easily be photoshopped to mock them.
  • Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz refused to clap when President Trump honored DJ Daniel, a 13-year-old boy battling brain cancer.
  • Several House Democrats, including Reps. Jasmine Crockett, Maxwell Frost, Melanie Stansbury, LaMonica McIver, and Lateefah Simon, walked out of the speech altogether. They took a tearful selfie and 35k users on Twitter roasted them for it.
  • During the speech, President Trump exposed Democrats for lying to the American people for claiming they needed border legislation to secure the border.
  • Unfortunately for Democrats, President Trump got high remarks, while they did NOT.
    • A CBS poll found 76% of viewers approved President Trump’s speech
    • A CNN poll found 80% of viewers found Democrats behavior was inappropriate

WEDNESDAY

  • Despite the high approval rating of President Trump’s speech, Democrats couldn’t find ONE thing he said that they could support.
  • Democrats’ stunts were panned for undercutting their own message and making their party look “small and desperate.”
  • Democrat colleagues praised Rep. Al Green for his shameful behavior.
  • Democrats’ response to the joint address led to infighting within the caucus.
    • According to Axios: “The party is in a rut, stumbling on finding the most effective counterattack.”
    • Per a House Democrat: “Everyone is mad at everyone.”
  • Rep. Melanie Stansbury threw a tantrum, swearing and claiming Republicans are “not making America safer” during a hearing on holding Democrat mayors accountable for their sanctuary city policies.

THURSDAY

  • A liberal pollster found that just 10% of voters think Democrats have a good plan to counter President Trump. As Politico noted “And that’s coming from a Democratic outfit’s survey.”
  • House Democrats released a cringe-worthy “Choose your fighter” TikTok video – a trend that was popular online 3 years ago.
  • The House of Representatives voted to censure Rep. Al Green for disrupting President Trump’s joint address, but nearly all House Democrats opposed it, defending his shameful behavior.
    • During the reading of the censure resolution, Democrats disrupted proceedingsagain, choosing to sing songs on the House floor.
