WASHINGTON — The House-passed FY26 National Defense Authorization Act includes many crucial elements of President Trump’s Peace Through Strength agenda. In addition to modernizing our defense capabilities, instituting key quality of life improvements, and an expansion of DOD support for border security efforts, the NDAA also codifies 15 of President Trump’s executive orders related to national defense.
“There’s 15 of President Trump’s executive orders in the bill; executive orders to end radical and wasteful government, DEI programs, reinvigorate the nuclear industrial base, unleash American drone dominance, secure American Borders, end CRT in our military schools, reform the federal hiring process and restore merit to government service among many others,” Speaker Johnson said at this week’s House Republican Leadership press conference. “The safety and security of the American people, our homeland and our troops abroad is our utmost priority. And this must-pass legislation delivers on every front.”
