WASHINGTON — Congressional Democrats haven’t learned a thing.
Despite losing the presidency in landslide fashion, losing three seats and the majority in the U.S. Senate, and remaining in the minority in the U.S. House, Congressional Democrats have not yet realized it is their bad ideas, record of failure, and radical agenda that the American people rejected in massive fashion.
Speaker Johnson addressed this at the House Republican Leadership press conference this week: “The Democratic Party truly is seemingly lost. They have no rudder, they have no vision, and they have no clear leader,” Speaker Johnson said. “The only message they have is anti-President Trump, and we’ve all seen that that’s a failed strategy time after time.”
Democrats’ unhinged behavior was on full display all week:
- Rep. Jared Huffman performatively protested the National Prayer Breakfast, calling it an example of “MAGA Republicans taking a sledgehammer to the wall between church and state.” However, he forgot that Presidents Biden, Obama, and every U.S. President since the 1950’s have attended this bipartisan event.
- Rep. LaMonica McIver launched into an unhinged rant and called on protestors to “shut down” the Nation’s Capital and proclaimed that they are “at war.”
- Despite making “threats to democracy” the focal point of their failed campaign, the House Democrat leaders are openly subverting the right to vote of 750,000 New Yorkers by working with the NY Governor Hochul to delay the NY-21 special election.
- Despite not requesting a meeting, Reps. Judy Chu and Gwen Moore aggressively forced their way into the Speaker’s Office and interrupted Speaker Johnson’s meeting with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent so they could hold a press gaggle afterwards.
- It wasn’t just the Speaker’s office. Mobs of House Democrats tried to force their way into multiple government agencies where they did not have meetings.
- Rep. Jasmine Crockett launched into a racist tirade on national television and the official X account of the Democrat Party shared it gleefully.
- 18 days into President Trump’s term, Al Green introduced articles of impeachment against him, something he tried and failed to do multiple times before.
- Democrat leaders Pete Aguilar and Ted Lieu finally discovered that their failed policies led to high prices and shortages.
- Rep. Jasmine Crockett still wants men in girls’ sports.
