Everyone knew that wasteful Washington spending would spur inflation. Millions in hardworking taxpayer dollars were sent to luxury resorts and ski slopes, even stimulus checks to prisoners like the Boston Marathon bomber. Yet after more than a year of crushing inflation, Democrats still have no plan to solve it. Americans can’t afford Democrats’ policies, but we are certainly all paying for them.

If you’ve had a constant salary for the past two years, Democrats’ failed policies have taken more than one month of your income away each year. That means you’ve effectively received a pay cut.

Grocery prices have shot up 13.5%—the largest one-year increase since Jimmy Carter was president. Joe Biden and Democrats in Congress have no plan to fix it.

Not long ago, America was the largest energy producer in the world and gas was affordable. The Biden Administration then halted energy projects, shut down pipeline construction, and took every step to discourage the production of American energy resources. Americans shouldn’t have to choose between driving to work and putting food on the table.

Cut the permitting process time in half to reduce reliance on foreign countries, prevent rolling blackouts, and lower the cost of gas and utilities
Americans must be able to rely on power for their homes and businesses, and the government has a responsibility to make choices that prioritize keeping the lights on regardless of the weather. Instead, the Biden administration wants to take the California model national, trade American energy for foreign dependence, and make U.S. energy more expensive and less competitive.

The silence from the White House and the FDA was unacceptable as parents across the country worried about feeding their children. Unfortunately, Democrats in Washington prioritized pushing through their social spending and tax scams before addressing our supply chain and ports crises. Now, American consumers have been left paying the price.
